KCSARC is on the frontline with victims of sexual assault and at the forefront of change in our community because of the philanthropic support of individuals and foundations. Your support allows KCSARC to provide services to victims and education to the community free of any charge to the client. As a 501(c)(3), contributions are tax-deductible as allowed by law. KCSARC's tax ID #: 91-0967255.
Consider joining KCARC as a major donor. With a gift of $1,000 or more annually, you will join a committed group of supporters in KCSARC’s Major Donor Circle. These donors provide significant funding to KCSARC and receive additional recognition for their support, including invitations to exclusive gatherings throughout the year. For more information on being a major donor please contact Alix Compton, Director of External Relations, or call the KCSARC office at 425.226.5062.
Consider joining KCSARC as a sustaining partner. You will help KCSARC by providing a steady, reliable source of funds each month, continue outreach and service to our community. Sustaining partners commit to a monthly donation, which will be automatically charged to your credit card each month. You may increase, decrease or cancel your donation at any time. Contact Alex Lee, Development Assistant, for more information or to sign up.
Through the end of the year give through our BE LOUD Campaign and be entered into a drawing for a cruise from Princess Cruise Lines. There are three ways to make a cash donation:
2. By mail to KCSARC, PO Box 300, Renton, WA 98057.
3. By phone at 425-226-5062.
You may also make a dedication gift in honor or memory of someone and KCSARC will send a special acknowledgement card to the person you identify.
GiveBIG The Seattle Foundation's GiveBIG is an annual one-day, online charitable giving event to inspire people to give generously to nonprofit organizations who make our region a healthier and more vital place to live. Gifts of Stock
There are lots of advantages to making a stock gift. Although you should check with your tax professional about how these rules apply to you, the following information may help you understand the process:
Under current tax laws, the full fair-market value of stocks and bonds (up to 30% of adjusted gross income this year, with a five-year carryover for any “excess”) may be deducted. The extra benefit of donating appreciated stocks or bonds is that federal capital gains tax on the securities unrealized appreciation may be avoided.
The value of your gift of securities is based upon the mean between the high and low quotations on the specific day your securities pass from your control.
To donate stock, contact your broker to determine the stock and number of shares you would like to contribute. Then contact KCSARC’s External Relations Department at 425.226.5062 with your broker’s contact information and the information about the shares you are donating.
Make an investment in KCSARC’s future with a living legacy gift or bequest. Legacy gifts help ensure that your commitment to helping KCSARC end the silence around sexual assault will continue. Planning a gift of assets with estate and tax implications in mind, enables you to help KCSARC while keeping your own financial goals in site. You may fund your gift in various ways including cash, real estate, property, stock, life insurance and retirement funds. A legacy gift can help you avoid capital gains taxes at the time of the gift, protect assets otherwise subject to estate and gift taxes and reduce current income taxes. For more information on planning a legacy gift to KCSARC, contact your attorney or the External Relations Department at 425.226.5062.
