Trusted adults working in schools are frequently those who first hear a young survivor’s disclosure. Too often, survivors go unconnected to supportive advocacy until well into a criminal legal process, leaving them feeling confused and isolated. KCSARC’s new Advocacy, Connection & Engagement (ACE) program is changing that by reaching survivors right from the moment of disclosure.
