Learn how to minister to both victims and offenders in your faith community
The 2010 Interfaith Symposium will include a panel of experts, resources and an opportunity to network with colleagues.
Our panel of experts will include: a victim of sexual abuse, a sex offender, service providers for victims, service providers for offenders, and faith community leaders with direct experience of ministering to victims and offenders.Each participant will receive a packet of educational materials and resources. All meals, snacks and beverages will be provided at no cost to participants thanks to the generosity of the Archdiocese of Seattle.

Brief History of the Interfaith Symposium
The first Interfaith Symposium on the sex offender in your faith community was in November of 2002. The goal between faith community members, Department of Corrections and King County Sexual Assault Resource Center was to provide leaders in faith communities with the knowledge and the professional resources that would:
Each year the Interfaith Group works to create a symposium that will build on the information shared in past efforts in addition to being appropriate for first time participants
Pre-registration is required for all participants as space is limited.
