what does it mean?
When we
talk about "ending the silence", we are urging people to openly engage with
their friends, children, relatives and co-workers about a crime that often
leaves the victim with the devastation of shame and guilt.
The stigma that surrounds sexual violence continues because we, as a society,
have been reluctant to face the reality of the crime, and its impact.
We must openly talk, ask questions, and demand a better world.
KCSARC is a change agent. We plan to end sexual violence in our community
and we are here to care for those who are affected.
