Courtwatch Resources

Read KCSARC's position brief on the proposed changes of CrR 3.1 regarding pro se defendants. After the well-publicized trial of Salvador Cruz last year, the issue of defendants cross-examining victims has been at the forefront of many victim advocacy groups' concerns. Our hope is that protections will be provided to victims so they are encouraged to come forward and report, while also maintaining the rights of all parties involved.
